During Spring Break this year, Jake, Ava, Hunter and Jesse wanted to do a bake sale. So they asked what I thought they should bake. I suggested Maine whoopie pies and they thought fudge and rice krispy treats would sell well too. So we baked and cooked until about 10 pm. The next morning they were up early but I had them wait a few hours because it was so cold. They finally couldn't wait any longer and set up their table. They had three flavors for the whoopie pies (buttercream, peanut butter, and mint). They made peanut butter and chocolate fudge and regular rice krispy treats. I put it on facebook and so many people came. Morgan and Lexi came all the way over to support them and the kids thought that was so cool. They were so cute as they picked their favorites. It was awesome and they sold out of most everything. People loved everything and they ended up making over $130 (I didn't subtract the cost of the ingredients so they really didn't make that much but they thought they did) ;)

Look at these two cute girls! They supported their little cousins' bake sale. They drove clear out to our house to buy some of their goodies. So very sweet! |
