Ava has always wanted to do gymnastics but I've never wanted her to. She chose dance as the next best option and loved it. I thought she would want to continue for years but she talked to her Dad about tumbling or gymnastics; she'd take either one and he thought that sounded great. When she came to me I told her she could do tumbling but not gymnastics. She has been in tumbling for a couple of months now and just got moved up from beginning to intermediate. She was pretty happy about that.
Anyway, this recital was so much fun to watch. She practiced every day and we could hear her song, "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile" (from the "new" Annie movie) each time she practiced. She was very graceful and I thought she'd make a perfect dancer. But my girl wants to be a gymnast.
