Getting into the Holiday Spirit (December 2016)

December of 2016 was a bit rough for our family. Our Bradie Boy was having a hard time and we were trying to figure out how to help him so most of this last year has flown by without me even being fully aware that time was passing. I have felt "frozen" for many months but I am learning to live with uncertainty and to enjoy each precious activity with my kids.

Miss Ava picked a beautiful tree!

The kids and pups enjoying the tree together.

We had so many little treats and gifts dropped off on our doorstep. We thought it was someone in the neighborhood. Come to find out, it was David and Carolyn and their kids. They had our name and they kept secretly dropping things off at our doorstep all December. So sweet!

These two are never camera shy! Ha!

Best buds!

Eli had a blast decorating cookies.

My sweet girl!

Jakee Juice very intent on his decorating skills.

Bradie attaching some candy.

Little bud, just dying to open it up and get started.

I think someone already snuck a mouthful of brownie.

Everyone loved the special brownies (we later learned that Savannah and Chelsea made them).

I know you have had quite the year but you are such an example of faith and endurance. You are such a great mom to some amazing kiddos. We sure love Brad and pray for him and your family daily! Love your tradition of kids picking out the tree! So is it Eli's turn this year. I cannot even imagine what that boy will pick!
