Ava went with her friend, Hannah, to watch her during her riding lessons and she came home so wound up and begged me and Dennis to let her have lessons too. Of course we just can't say no so she is now taking lessons and loving every second of it. She begs to go to the barn to brush the horses, or muck out their stalls; anything to be close to them.

| Her first lesson on Joe. He's a big guy but doesn't like to exert himself any more than he has to. She would only ride Joe the first several times but has now moved on to faster horses. |

| As you can see, Joe gets plenty of food. Ava's teacher told her that she is the only one to ride Joe and he needs a few more people to ride him since he needs the exercise. |
