Elder Ralph's first Sunday

A cute little lady took a picture of Ethan's first Sunday in the area and sent it to me. Ethan emailed me on Monday and said that his companion, Elder Bailey, is really funny and a hard worker. He was a little discouraged because they haven't had as much success as was had in the area in the past. (I don't know how he would feel that way since he's only been there 6 days!) He said they get fed every night which is wonderful. One thing he was kind of bummed about was that he can't wear street clothes outside of the apartment even on P-days. So, when they play basketball or help with projects they have to be in dress clothes. I told him to hang in there and that everyone says it gets easier as time goes by.

Wow! I've never heard of pday clothes being that strict! Must be just his mission. Seems odd they would have them doing service projects in their suits. Must be a reason but that would be a little tricky! He looks great and I'm glad he's got a good comp!

We have a kid serving in France and he never seems to be in missionary clothes. Always shorts and tshirt like he is on vacation! I am sure they are all pday pics but I have yet to see the kid in a suit! I hope he adjusts quickly and the holidays aren't too bad. That is the time Morgan struggled after she face timed us for Christmas.
