Corneal Abrasion

Poor little sis was playing with sidewalk chalk with some neighbors when a little boy got a little rough with a piece and a chunk of it hit Ava in the eye. I thought we could just wash it out and she'd be fine but after two days I took her in because it wasn't getting any better. We even did eye drops to no avail. The eye doctor gave us a prescription eye drop with an antibiotic in it and it started to feel better right away. After just a couple days she felt as good as new! Thank goodness for modern medicine. I had no idea a simple scratch could hurt so bad!
