"The Road Not Taken"

This beautiful painting was a gift I will always hold dear to my heart! I have always loved the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. From the very first time I read it, it moved me and filled me with a quiet confidence. Our sweet Lexi painted this for her Personal Progress project and Elena posted it on her blog. I told her how I have always loved that poem and how a painting like that would be my idea of a perfect gift. Maybe I shouldn't have worded it like that because Lexi, being the tender-hearted girl that she is, had it framed and sent to me for Christmas. I was overcome when I opened it and Lexi will never know the joy that fills my heart everytime I walk into my room and see it, partly because of the poem it represents but mostly because of the selfless love of Lexi that it represents!! I have plans to paint a golden accent wall in my room and this painting will hang in my room ever after! I love you Lexi and thank you for making my Christmas a truly memorable one!!

I'm really glad you liked it Bozie! I had no idea it would mean so much. You make it sound like some kind of masterpiece instead of the amateur painting it is but i really appreciate it! You are AWESOME! Love Lex!!
