Halloween 2010 for the Utah Clan

Here's the gang, all dressed up and full of excitement. McKenna was Cleopatra. Kate a pirate. Little Eden was a witch. Dillan was a viking skull, Hunter a gangster, Autumn and Jesse vampires. Brad was a ninja (again), Jake a werewolf, and Ava girl was Snow White (her favorite princess). I'm glad we took pictures as soon as everyone got to Grandma and Grandpa's house because it started to rain and pour and continued most of the night.

Cousin Halloween Photos

As we do every year, Alisa, Rachel and I (and Dean)brought the kids to Grandma and Grandpa Merrill's for pictures and fun. Grandma and Grandpa love to see the kids all dressed up and always have candy, cookies, and caramel corn. This year they had carrot-potato soup and we all hope that this remains a tradition-everyone loved it. I tried cropping my big picture into lots of closer images so their cute little faces would show up better. Right after taking the pictures, it started to pour and continued raining most of the night!

Pinewood Derby

The boys had so much fun designing their cars (on paper) and painting them when Dennis was finished cutting them out. Brad wanted a race car with wheels on the inside and Jake chose a truck with wheels on the outside. I couldn't be there because I went to support Ethan in his last football game of the season so I asked Dennis to take pictures for me. The boys said they had a good time even though there were lots of "faster" cars. Poor Dennis got sick that night and was sick for two more days. (Couldn't have been from getting absolutely no sleep the two nights previous to the derby!!) What our daddy's won't do for their kids!

Love Hate Relationship

Ava is either loving on Lacy or pestering her, there is no in between for this girl. Lacy is patient and puts up with more than any dog should. I think Ava has been a little jealous of how much attention Lacy gets from everyone in the family and takes it out on her. She has been treating her better the last few days so hopefully the jealousy will lessen with time. I love Ava's mischevious little eyes-she makes me laugh!
