The boys had so much fun designing their cars (on paper) and painting them when Dennis was finished cutting them out. Brad wanted a race car with wheels on the inside and Jake chose a truck with wheels on the outside. I couldn't be there because I went to support Ethan in his last football game of the season so I asked Dennis to take pictures for me. The boys said they had a good time even though there were lots of "faster" cars. Poor Dennis got sick that night and was sick for two more days. (Couldn't have been from getting absolutely no sleep the two nights previous to the derby!!) What our daddy's won't do for their kids!

No kidding. Rick loves making them with the boys but mainly he does it all. It takes him forever! I should have him starting now for the spring time. Ha. Poor Dennis I hope he is feeling better.
