The Joy of Scouting
Ethan has had so much fun in Scouts. He really gets into it and it is fun to see him like this. His leaders and the other boys love having him in their group. I think his "Nacho" personality came out at this camp and the leaders ran with it and they all had a great time doing impersonations of this hero in blue tights. Anyway, I'm grateful for the Scouting Program which helps our boys set goals and helps their self-confidence. And I'm so very glad we have leaders who care and want to see the boys succeed. What fun!!

My boys are so not into scouts. Last year they had a great leader and she has let them do things with her group this summer, but their regular leader never had anything planned except basketball, which my boys aren't huge fans of. I hope now that they are Webelos it will go better.
i hope so too-the leaders make all the difference! if they don't care about scouting the boys will have same attitude. they will have so much fun and it will help them bond and make friendships with other boys their age-keep encouraging them!
