Before and After
My amazing husband decided he was tired of the same brown colors throughout our house so he painted our front room a beautiful blue with white bead-board and doors. I love it and he did it so fast. The man seems to have endless energy and requires very little sleep. I feel like a slug compared to him:)

The fun of Fall
The kids were so excited that our front tree actually lost enough leaves this year to build a pile to play in. Eli had such a good time and I love that Ethan joined in with his baby brother. Fall is our favorite time of year (well, we really like summer too;)

Just because
We were just getting ready to head out to church but I wanted to snap a quick picture of the kids before we left. They just keep changing so fast and it feels like I'm not keeping up with them as far as photos are concerned. They are wonderful children and I really am so grateful to be their mother!!
Hee Haws yet again!
Our annual Hee Haw trip was beautiful. The weather was warm, not the typical windy, rainy weather we usually have in October. Brad and Jake are getting a little too big for this but they were good sports to come and have fun with Ava and Eli. Eli wanted to explore everything and loved it all. I got sick and of course the only bathroom they had was a porta-potty. Yuck!! I hope to keep this tradition going until baby boy grows out of it. We have been going here every year for 11 years. (We started when Ethan was in kindergarten).
Silly Teeth
I know these pictures are a bit disturbing but I just had to include them for my book so Eli and Ava can see them later on. We had a dinosaur in the bath tub and somehow someone broke it's jaw apart. Well, I had gotten Eli out of the tub and ready for the day and was going to help Ava when I saw Eli with this piece of the jaw in his mouth. It was so funny looking that I just had to get a picture of him with it and then of course Miss Ava wanted to try it too. Crazy little critters!x

One sick little boy!
Our poor little guy got so sick in September. He just went down-hill so fast and ended up in the hospital. He was completely dehydrated (he needed two bags of fluid). They took his blood and x-rays of his chest and said it was a virus and sent us home after 5 hours of testing and watching him. He was so lethargic when we went in that they immediately gave him an I.V. and motrin and other meds. He wasn't acting any better 4 hours later so they gave him another bag of fluids. After sending us home he was just so fussy and coughing like crazy. We got a call a few days later from the hospital and they said they took another look at his x-rays and that he had pneumonia. He was put on an antibiotic and slowly he recovered. This picture is after he was feeling "better".
Overnight Camp
Here's my boy, coming home from his 5th grade overnight camp. He was the first one I let go to this camp. He had such a good time and was glad he went. He loved watching the skits and seemed to really enjoy the whole thing.
