On the Daniels drive back home they decided to stop in St.George and see the "Little Mermaid" play at the outdoor theatre, Tuacahn. I took Ava, Jake and Brad and Mom came too. I was not feeling well and then little Ava got so sick. She had a fever and sore throat and then she got sick all over while we were waiting outside of the theatre. Everyone else had a great time and said the show was incredible. I did see most of the first half and I agree, it was pretty amazing. I am taking Ava and Jake at the end of August with Don and Jill and their kids (got to try to see the whole thing)!

What would a family get-together be without this photo?? Come 3 or 4 in the afternoon and this is most likely how you will find Mother. We all laugh and of course break out the cameras! Classic Loosey Goose!!

Caden and his "Thai"

Little KK loves spicy food and is crazy about Thai. My friends said the best place to go was this little place off of 800 in Orem. But much to Caden's disappointment, it was more sweet than spicy;) Still, it was a cute restaurant and we had fun trying it out.

Hiking the "Y" and enjoying the Malt Shop

Tyson wanted to hike the "Y" while visiting this summer so most of us, including Dave joined in the fun. I did it once or twice while in college but I totally forgot how steep of a climb it is. A couple of the boys seemed to sprint to the top but most of us were taking our time;) We decided that we deserved a treat afterwards and went to the old Malt Shope on University Ave (it's been around since before Ellie and Elena went to BYU). Fun day and the kids said they'd do it again. Next time we'll have to go earlier in the day, as noon was the wrong time to be doing such a hike!

Teens making pies with Grandma

I don't know who wanted to learn to make pies but here's the gang that worked with Grandma on pie making day. They learned to roll their own crusts and made two pumpkin and two apple crumb pies. They were delicious and beautiful. The kids had a blast with Grandma too.

Feeling Good!

Nothing like a haircut and losing over 20 pounds to make a girl feel good!! I still have so much more to lose but I do feel better when I exercise each day!

My Dennis
